My name is Satvir, and I am a passionate Health and Social Care Professional. Here is a little insight into my learning journey over the past 30 years, which has helped me develop my career and shape my future in this vast and growing sector.
I am qualified in Advanced Care Management and have an Associate Teaching qualification. I am also a qualified NVQ Assessor and have led and supported apprenticeships in HSC L2 – L5. I have continued to further my CPD opportunities by completing some Train the Trainer courses in facilitating and instructing bespoke subjects related to Health and Social Care.
As a result of my qualifications and expertise in this field, I have found myself working in a variety of care and management roles ranging from Support Worker, Activities Co-Ordinator, Homes Manager, Crisis Manager, Training Manager and Registered Manager.
I currently work with a primary school and further education college to support children, young people and adults with their educational needs and preferences.
Due to my broad range of roles and expertise in Health and Social Care, I believe that I have the ability and desire to help support individuals with their learning goals and aim to help develop their confidence in applying a person-focused approach to the most vulnerable. Furthermore, this can help them foster key principles and core values related to high-quality care and encourage best practices.
I have had the privilege of working with some amazing professionals, which has enabled me to successfully support others with their personal development and career goals.
